Job Description:
Under the authority of the production foreman, the front loader operator/oven assistant is responsible for filling the conveyor that leads the raw materials to the oven, so as to ensure continuous feeding. Between loading operations, he assists with bagging and ensures the cleanliness of his work areas.
Tasks
- Safely drive and manoeuvre the frontal load
- Load, move and unload raw material
- Ensure continuous and sufficient feed of the conveyor
- Perform cleaning of work areas, feed mill and front loader
- Perform any other related duties
Responsibilities
- Inspect the raw material to report any anomalies to the immediate supervisor
- Perform minor maintenance on machinery
- Complete daily inspection forms
- Report any breakage or defect to the mechanics or supervisors
- Comply with factory safety rules
